The Foundations of Recovery Program (FOR) is an addiction treatment program that helps Veterans develop new recovery skills through a residential program (Segment I) followed by a personalized recovery plan that follows patients for three months post-completion (Segment II).
The focus of FOR is to help newly recovering and/or those with co-occuring mental health and physical health concerns learn the basics of early recovery. Daily groups teach: Coping Skills Problem Solving Relapse Prevention Motivational Tools Introduction to the 12 Steps.
Please note that the Foundations of Recovery Program (FOR) is not a drop-in clinic. All visits and admissions must be scheduled by the Addiction Consultation and Treatment (ACT).
